First
Bastrop real estate broker with their own community website
Born and raised in Texas and glad to
be of service to all those who want to be here. I spent 24 years working for
Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, 4 years as a Cable Splicer and 14 years as
an Outside Plant Engineer. Then I had a close encounter with corporate
downsizing.

(Ever wonder what happens to those people
who one day they have a career and the next day they don't even have a
job?)
Today I am a real estate broker with
my own company, Coldwell Banker Green - Mills & Associates, in Bastrop,
Texas. I have been blessed with a fine group of Realtors and staff. We are here
to help you every step of the way in your property search to buy or sell new
homes, resale homes, lots, farm and ranch land or commercial property.
We are also experts with relocation
and local builders.
Our office is designed to make your
next move the easiest one ever. My staff and I understand buying and selling
real estate is an emotional event. We are very good with first time homebuyers,
veteran movers and investors.
We are especially sensitive to those
who are relocating from one area to the next. Our goal is to help you find your
special place in Texas.
We work as a team to service a very
large geographical area, including: Austin, Bastrop, Smithville, Elgin, Manor,
Lockhart, Buda, Kyle, Dale, Del Valle, Lytton Springs and La Grange. The
counties are Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays and Travis. Bastrop, Texas is located just
30 miles SE of Austin and 20 miles SE of the new airport. We have one stop
shopping.
As the first real estate broker in
this area to own a community web site -
http://www.bastroptexas.com
- it is appropriate to say Mary Ann Green is on the cutting edge of technology.
Bringing hometown values and
high-tech options to you all in one place.
From Houston, you'll find us on the
left as you enter Bastrop on Hwy 71 and from Austin you'll see our new
billboard in front of Wal-Mart on the right. We're just down the road on Hwy 71
3rd light, take a right.

Remodeling and Renovations >Show And Sell
Real estate agents are often asked "What is the best way to show and sell a home?" Almost every agent can tell you a story about meeting with a prospective seller who has just completed a lot of work to prepare their home for the market. It can be difficult for a real estate agent to tell the seller that their renovations were not the best changes to effectively market their home.
If you are considering making any improvements prior to selling your home, the best advice is to consult with your agent before you make any changes. An experienced real estate agent can provide you with information that can help you decide what kind of improvements will set the stage for a sale. Whether it is paint and wallpaper, remodeling the bathrooms, or updating the kitchen, your real estate agent can guide you toward "neutral" choices which can assist the buyer's imagination.
